Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that comes with a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has many other smart features, such as a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower price than many of the competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your room. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and required a flip to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify a variety of settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It provides impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station functions as an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your space which allows it to know where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
It also comes with other highlights, such as a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have several types of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It also comes with a variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small areas. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It is also very good in removing pet hair from carpets.
automatic hoover than many of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
